Marseille on St. Valentine's day /말세이 여행 + 발렌타인스 데이

For our romantic trip for 2014 Valentine's day, I decided to go to Marseille.  I imagined that it'd be the place for a so very romantic weekend getaway in Mediterranean sea.  Well… nope!  The adjectives that  we'd used the most while we were there were "ugly", "dirty".. in that category.  How sad is that! But here I am to show you some nice parts of the city and food.  Luckily Marseille is in France :)

프랑스에서 처음 받이하는 나의 생일과 발렌타인데이를 기념하기 위해서 이 착하고 예쁜 마눌님이 계획하신 말세이 여행! 그러나…. 왠일이레 느무 더럽고 안예쁜도시.. 울 신랑이 왜 하필.. 말을 흐렸다는.. 정말 안 로맨틱해서 한숨 ㅋㅋㅋ 울 동네 몽펠리에가 정말 괜찮은 도시라고 다시하면 느끼게 한 도시.  그래도 오래돼고 옛날엔 좀 돈도 있었던 도시라서 예쁜곳도 딱 찍으면 있다는… 여기에 사진입니다.. 그래도 프랑스안에 있어서 그런지 음식은 다 괜찮게 맛있었어요.

프랑스 사람들도 사랑하는 아구! 울 신랑보고 먹을래? 했더니 대답을 아직도 안하고…

 

 

 

점심은 at la Table du Fort;  신선한 생선, 아기돼기 요리, 초콜렛 오렌지 무스, 서양배 무스

 

저기 보이는 섬이 듀마 소설에 나오는 몽테크리스토 백작이 6년간 감옥살이한곳

 

One of few places that makes Marseille somewhat special.  Notre-Dame de la Garde. The first thing you will see when you step out of the St. Charles station.  This is it!

 

 

 

It's amazing inside.  금빛 찬란한 성당.  선원들 배주인들의 성지

 

 

Vallons des auffes 그나마 예쁜 구석. 여기 올려고 금빛성당에서 한 20분 걸었다는

 

 

 

Valentine's day dinner at l'escapade Marseillaise & Ferries wheel. 울 신랑 촌시럽게 이거 타자고 난 약간 고소공포증 있는데 그래도 신랑이 졸라서… 난 너무  :)

 

La Vieille Charité; 1640년에 건설, 노숙자 숙소, 혁명 이후엔 고아원 양로원으로 이용됨

 

 

Cathédrale Sainte-Marie-Majeure 이렇게 큰 성당은 처음! 가우디꺼랑 맞먹는 사이즈

 

 도시는 더러운데 바다는 깨끗! 그곳에서 잡은 물고기 숲이랑 구이

 

 

아주 친절한 프랑스 할머니가 주문받고 만들어서 서빙하셨다는..

 

MUCEM 안에는 볼꺼 딱 두개 샤갈이랑 이 마차 같은거 밖에는….

여기 사진에 나온곳이 거의 말세이의 예쁜곳.  더볼것도 없어서 오후에 돌아올때 느무 잘됐다 싶었어요.  다시는 안가도 될곳 그 산위에 성당빼고는…

This is it.  The highlight of Marseille.  We were so glad that we stayed just 2 days. Because of the Basilica Notre-Dame de la Garde, it might be worth visit again but there are lots of other places in south France that we'd like to go so bye-bye to Marseille!
