Luberon, the real Provence III. Bonnieux to Fontaine-de-Vaucluse / 아름다운 프로방스, 루베롱 III. 보니우에서 폰테인 더 보클루즈

After lunch at a little restaurant in Apt, we drove to Bonnieux.  We weren't impressed; it was too touristy and not that nice as other village.  We walked around little bit and drove to Lacoste.  Lacoste wasn't that interesting either.  Lacoste is best known for the resident, Marquis de Sade.  But the château wasn't that interesting either.  We could see Bonnieux from Lacoste hill.  The highlight of the day was the Colorado Provençal.  It's another ochre place in Luberon.  It was very easy to reach from Apt, worth going for early evening hike.  Don't confuse with sign, Colorado Adventure.  It's not a same thing. You can choose from 3 easy trails but be careful! make sure that you follow the trail marks. We lost little bit and it wasn't fun!

See how beautiful it is!  This photo was taken around 7pm so go there little late in the afternoon for the good light!

Next day we decided to stop in Gordes.  Well it's one of the plus beaux villages in France but it wasn't that impressive either!

If you ever type Gordes in Google, you will see this image over and over because there is very popular bus and car stop place that you can take this photo :)  well we had to do same thing!

Fontaine de Vaucluse.  The most touristy place we'd been in this trip.  But it was worth it.  The water was so clean!

Ben climbed over the fance and checked the actual fontaine but he said the water level was very low and dirty apparently.

It was great trip!  Now we'd love to stay home in Montpellier, relax, and enjoy our beautiful garden.

루베롱은 정말 좋았던곳!  기회되시면 맨날 파리만 가시지 말고 프랑스 시골도 즐겨보시길…

Luberon, the real Provence II.Roussillon to St. Saturnin-lès-Apt / 아름다운 프로방스, 루베롱 II.루시용에서 세인트 사투닝 레 앱트

We had a beautiful dinner at Sanglier Paresseux in Caseneuve.  It's about 15 min drive from Apt, and the view was gorgeous!  You have to make a reservation. It was packed!

The food was great, the view was amazing.

Roussillon in the morning for the market and Ochre path ( Sentier des Ocres)

While waiting for the Ochre path to open, we walked around Roussillon. It's cute beautiful village.

The Sentier des Ocres opens at 9am.  It's the best time to go; the light was great, there wasn't too many tourists yet!

It's short walk but great! Don't miss it!

Little Bryce Cayon!

I highly recommend  you to drive from Roussillon to Lioux.  You will pass this beautiful lavender field!

From Lioux, we drove to Saint Saturnin-lès-Apt.

Beautiful!

The unique thing about this village is that there is this little dam inside the ruins
