Since forever, I've always wanted to visit the famous Provence ( well, we already visited Marseille and Avignon but I mean the real provence :)) in France. I know that March isn't the best time to visit here but I couldn't wait any longer. We decided to stay in Saint-Rémy and Arles and visit all the places around the two towns which are the west side of Provence. We will go to Luberon area which is the east side when the lavender is blooming. We drove 1 1/2 hours from Montpellier and arrived in Les Baux-de-Provence. What a beautiful day!

Les Baux-de-Provence; It's built on the top of the rocky mountain. It looks kinda like very very small scaled Rohan + Gondor in Middle-earth :) 레보라는 프로방스. 아주 옛날에는 성벽으로 둘러싸여있었던 돌산위에 성이심. 꼭 반지의 제왕에 나오는 로한이랑도 비슷하고 그 돌산을 이용해서 만든 성이라서 곤도어 같기도 한 동네. 프랑스에서 가장 예쁜 동네의 하나!

I forgot what year but until very recent, this door was the only one gate to Les Baux. 아주 얼마전까지 이 큰 성에 이 작은 문이 딱 한 출입구였데요

So we spent a day in Les Baux and St. Rémy and the next day, we drove for an hour to Arles. I really wanted to go to the famous saturday market. As expected, it was amazing (like Crazy amazing!!) we walked an hour yet couldn't finish it! We ended up buying lots of yummy food and ate them on someone's stairs and listened music played by the street musician. If you ever go to Arles, don't miss the Saturday market!
아주 알찬 하루를 찐하게 레보랑 센라미에서 보내주고 다음날 당정 차를 몰고 간 알러.. 반고흐 아저씨가 살던곳. 여기는 토요일에 아주~ 유명한 프로방스 장이 서는곳. 너무 크고 대단해서 반도 못보고 끝난곳. 막 먹으면서 겉다가 여러가지 음식들 사가지고 동네 예쁜 집앞에 계단에 앉아서 거기 악사가 들려주는 기타 소리를 들으면서 먹어주심. 자 여기 사진들 보시길….

Not like 2 passed meals in Provence, at the Le Criquet restaurant, the food was amazing. We will definitely go back when Ben doesn't have the allergy. He was miserable all day. Provence is packed with Cypress trees! My husband couldn't even open his eyes… poor husband.. but we finished this amazing meal :) After slept in Arles, we drove to Camargue area. 그 전날 먹었던 음식과는 달리 아주 맛있는 저녁을 이 식당에서 먹어줌. 근데 울 신랑 알러지가 너무 심해서 눈도 제대로 못뜨고 먹었다는… 울 신랑 집에 돌아와서 이제 살것 같다고.. 불쌍한 .. 알르에서 하루밤을 더 자고 카말그라는 곳으로 출발해주심. 내일 블로그를 올려주겠습니다! 아주 멋있는 분홍 플라밍고가 사는 동네! 기대하시길!!!!
